Rarely do things live to to expectations but Peepers 'whole damn grill' did so and more. I visited in 2020 and saw this on the menu but there were 2 of us. For an entire year I thought about going back and we finally did. Every part of dinner was amazing. The people were super friendly (and the dog) and the value was outstanding. Food was awesome! Place is super laid back! The service staff was exceptional! Legit. The cook must be a seasoned veteran as everything came out super quickly and charred to utter perfection! I ‘high’ly suggest their heirloom lemonades with CBD & THC infusion. They are reefereshing!
Having gone there for breakfast when it was 'Bag the Moon', we had been avoiding it at all costs, but we decided to try it under these new owners and have now found our favorite breakfast spot on the island. From the funny and charismatic wait staff (Sampson and Alex particularly), to the delicious breakfast, we wish we would have tried them sooner! No doubt it will be our breakfast choice every time we go back, from now on! And for the evenings, they have great live bands on the weekends, you can dance to and have a good time. And everybody should get a strawberry shot if you never had one!
The best food on the island. I recommend the chicken drum lollipops and the sirloin kabobs. They also have the best baked beans I've ever eaten. Sit out on the front porch with a beer and people watch. The owners and staff are awesome.
Always my favorite place to stop for a few shots! They weren't busy so got a seat up at the bar, got 2 strawberry shots and a drink and we were on our way to the next spot! Friendly staff.
I had the pleasure of getting to know Peepers Bar and Restaurant over this last week, mainly due to needing WiFi for work. Not only did I find a great spot to get some work done, but I also discovered a gem in terms of food, drinks, and service. Food: The portions are generous, and the flavors are amazing. I highly recommend trying the Hog Rolls—they are simply delicious and a must-try on the menu. Drinks: If you’re looking for something unique and tasty, you’ve got to try a strawberry shot. The drinks menu is diverse and caters to all preferences. Service: What really puts this place above the rest is the service. I’ve had the pleasure of being served by two of the best bartenders I’ve ever met. Shout out to Kenzie and Morgan—getting to know them over the last week has been a highlight of my time here. They are friendly, attentive, and make everyone feel welcome. Overall: Peepers Bar and Restaurant stands out not just for its great food and drinks, but also for its exceptional service and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you need a place to work or just want to enjoy a fantastic meal and drinks, this is the place to be. Thanks again to Kenzie and Morgan for making my experience so memorable!
Everything is great but the ribs and hog rolls are on another level! Get the spicy sauce!! The to-go-to place on the Island to dance the night away and they have an awesome d.j. on the weekends!! Plus strawberry shots!!
